Fall Study Abroad Fair
Utah State University’s Study Abroad Office holds its annual Fall Study Abroad Fair Tuesday Sept. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Taggart Student Center International/ Sunburst Lounge.
“Students will have the opportunity to talk with many outside program providers as well as learn about the many affordable exchange programs offered through Utah State and just get excited about all the possibilities to go international,” says Kay Forsyth, USU Study Abroad Director. “Prospective students will also have the opportunity to talk with past study abroad participants. Plus, there are great door prizes for travel gear, study abroad scholarships and more.”
Valerie Colby, a current USU student, went to Mexico to study abroad with a USU faculty-led program in education last summer.
“My study abroad experience was amazing,” Colby said. “It was awesome to learn more by living in a different culture and really learn from the people instead of out of the text books all the time. It was a great hands-on learning experience that changed my life. Studying abroad is an experience that you can’t pass up.”
In conjunction with the Study Abroad Fair, the United States Postal Service will have a Passport Fair. Everyone is welcome to come to the fair and get a passport application started.
