Fall 2006 Issue of USU Magazine Now Online

USU piano major Aran Arakeylan arrived in Utah with one suitcase and a handful of music books. The parting with his family in Armenia was painfully brief; his parents and brother knew it might be years before they’d see him again. He’s making the most of this opportunity. Since hooking up with music professor Gary Amano, Arakeylan has been wowing audiences and judges of international piano competitions.
