Everyone Else Does It
Conventional wisdom portrays college as a place where co-eds, flush with newfound freedom and temptation, first experiment with risky behaviors. But USU physician Jim Davis thinks the process starts much earlier. A recent campus-wide survey reveals that most students who smoke, drink or use illicit drugs began in high school. In contrast, college abstainers were high school abstainers.
