Enjoy Bosses Day Lunch Oct. 16
An afternoon of fun is planned as part of a campus activity that honors and recognizes our leaders — office and program supervisors. Hosted by USU’s Auxiliary Services, that event, “Bosses Day Lunch,” is Tuesday, Oct. 16, and activities run from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Taggart Student Center’s Stevenson Ballroom.
Event organizers said this is a terrific opportunity to have a fun afternoon and to let your supervisor know how much you appreciate them.
The lunch includes a buffet menu and a series of activities, including office chair races, hula hoops, a putting green and more.
“Dining Services sponsored this event last year for the first time and it was a blast,” said Alan Andersen, director of dining services. “We had a lot of calls afterwards asking us to do it again. This year, the other auxiliaries have joined us in sponsoring the event so the prizes are even bigger and better.”
Especially popular last year was the hula-hoop competition.
“We are bringing the hula-hoops back again this year with a lot of other fun activities,” Andersen said. “We hope all departments on campus will take this opportunity to recognize their bosses and have a great time and meal as well.”
Among the prizes to be awarded are an office lunch party, a one-night stay at the University Inn and $50 in dining money. A door prize drawing starts at 1 p.m.
Tickets can be reserved by calling Dining Services at 797-1707.
Cost is $9.49 per person and bosses eat free.
