English Professor Melody Graulich Listed in Chronicle of Higher Ed

Melody Graulich, Utah State University Department of English professor and co-editor of the forthcoming book Reading The Virginian in the New West: Centennial Essays, was recently highlighted in the Chronicle of Higher Ed. A work Graulich co-edited was included in an article featuring books that look at the genre of westerns.


Graulich has been at Utah State University since 1997, when she took over the editorship of Western American Literature. She also directs the graduate program in American Studies and serves on the Mountain West Center advisory board. Since coming to Utah, she has given numerous invited lectures throughout the region, and in 2000 she was awarded the Humanities Researcher of the Year award from the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences at Utah State.
