End of Year Bash featuring Charlie Puth Cancelled

After headlining artist Charlie Puth cancelled his performance due to illness, the USUSA Student Events Office was forced to cancel the End of Year Bash. The office is in the process of exploring options for those who have already purchased tickets.

Puth expressed his deepest apologies.

“I’m extremely upset to have had to cancel all of our shows this week,” Puth said. “Unfortunately, I’ve been sick for the last week and am unable to sing, let alone speak without vocal pain. When I went to Berklee College of Music, I always looked forward to seeing live music come through our campus and I was very much looking forward playing and meeting all of you and I hope to make it up to everyone very soon.”

The USU Student Events office also released a statement.

“No one is more disappointed than us,” they said. “We were looking forward to having such a well-known artist at Utah State.”

If you already purchased a ticket, you can get a refund from the location it was purchased. Those who purchased a ticket with a credit card through the online ticket office will automatically receive a full refund. If you purchased your ticket with cash at the Spectrum Ticket Office, please visit the ticket office to get your refund. Bring your ticket.

If you purchased a ticket from the card office in the TSC, please visit the card office. Bring your student ID and ticket in order to get your refund.
