Employee Discount Available for USU Women's Basketball Summer Camps
Utah State's Women’s Basketball program offers a number of camps this summer and USU employees can take advantage of discounted rates.
The women’s basketball program at Utah State University offers a 30 percent discount to all USU faculty and staff for its upcoming summer camps.
All camp registration can be done online at aggieswomensbasketballcamps.com. To apply the discount, enter the code “USU30” at checkout. The discount is available for the Fundamental Skills, PeeWee and High School Development camps.
Camp action will continue Wednesday, June 8, through Friday, June 10, with the Fundamental Skills and PeeWee camps. Each camp runs from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. daily, with check-in beginning at 8:30 a.m. June 8.
The Fundamental Skills Camp will focus on the basics of the game, teaching players important skills of basketball offense, defense and ball handling. Registration is $100, open to girls entering the third through eighth grades.
The PeeWee Camp is designed for young players to get an entry-level exposure to basketball. Registration is $75 for the week and is open to girls entering kindergarten through second grade.
Both the Fundamental Skills and PeeWee camps will conclude with a final competition and awards ceremony that is open to participants' parents.
The Utah State camp season will wrap up on Saturday, June 11, with the High School Development Camp. The High School Development Camp is designed to help players improve skills, introduce college training techniques and learn about the college recruiting process. Registration is $65 if done by Sunday, June 5, or $75 afterward. The fee includes lunch and a camp T-shirt. The camp is open to high school girls entering ninth through 12th grades. Check-in will begin at 8 a.m. with camp running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
