'Egypt! What's it to You?' at the USU Museum of Anthropology

Continuing its “Saturdays at the Museum” series at Utah State University, the Museum of Anthropology next takes a look at ancient Egypt during activities Saturday, Sept. 6.

Guests will hear about ancient Egypt from the perspective of the four sub-categories of anthropology — cultural anthropology, linguistics, archaeology and biological anthropology. Event coordinators said this is a Saturday activity that both adults and children will enjoy.

 

The USU campus community and the community at large are invited to the museum any time during its newly adjusted Saturday hours, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 

“There will be activities including hieroglyphic bookmarks, a short documentary and more,” said museum coordinator Melissa Allen. “Everyone is invited and is guaranteed to learn something. Please join us for this exciting day.”
