Dying Frogs, Dying Planet?

USU herpetologist Joe Mendelson says a fungus is threatening hundreds of frog species. Why the hardy frog, which scientists consider a good indicator of overall environmental health, is succumbing to the fungus is a mystery. Mendelson and colleagues have launched a massive mission to rescue frogs in the path of the fungus, which is spreading through South and Central America.
