Utah State University biology student Stephanie Chambers says many women choose nursing over medicine because they believe they can't balance motherhood with a medical practice. Chambers says the opposite is true because nurses typically have less autonomy than doctors. She revived Utah State's Women in Medicine group to mentor women headed for medical careers.
