Don't Freeze Those Pipes
Broken pipes caused by cold weather can wreak havoc in a home, says USU Extension Specialist Richard Beard. Make sure pipes are properly insulated to protect pipes located in areas where temperatures drop below freezing. If pipes do freeze, call a plumber and teach adults and older children where the main water shutoff is located.
