Don’t Forget Commencement Rehearsal

Rehearsal will be held Friday, Dec. 17, at noon for all students participating in the 112th Utah State University Commencement ceremony Saturday, Dec. 18.

For the rehearsal, students must assemble promptly by noon in the Nelson Recreation Center. Procession lineup cards were mailed to each graduate indicating their position number in the procession. Being in the right place in line is critical to receive the correct personalized certificate of commencement. One card is for the rehearsal and another is for commencement morning.

Those participating must bring their lineup cards to the rehearsal and to the ceremony. Each graduate must find the sign to their college and take their place in line behind the sign. Place in the procession is indicated by the college number listed on the cards received. College personnel will be present to assist those participating.

If you are graduating, but did not receive a card, arrive for the rehearsal at 11:30 a.m. Do not wear caps and gowns to rehearsal, which will last about one hour.

A graduation dinner for graduates and their guests will also be held Friday, Dec. 17, 2004 from 6-8 p.m. in the Taggart Student Center Evan N. Stevenson Ballroom. Tickets for the dinner are $13.50 for adults and $6.50 for children under age12, and can be purchased at the Utah State Ticket Office.
