Dinesh Patel Named USTAR Board Chair

Former Utah State University Board of Trustee member Dinesh Patel has been named chair of the Utah Science, Technology and Research Initiative board. The appointment was made by Utah Gov. Jon M. Huntsman Jr.

USTAR was created by the Utah legislature earlier this year to promote partnerships between government, business and education. The USTAR board met July 5 with Huntsman, who announced Patel’s appointment.
