Detecting Disease

USU agricultural researchers have teamed with Utah company TekVet and the IBM Corp. to study a remote system that transmits the body temperature of cattle to ranchers, dairy farmers, feedlot owners and government regulators. The results from the research could give cattle owner’s early warnings of health problems that may lead to an outbreak of disease.
