Design Your Dream Kitchen

Utah State University Extension and the Utah House in Kaysville present a day-long seminar, "Design your Dream Kitchen," Saturday, June 18, from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. The seminar is taught by USU Extension agents and specialists and covers all aspects of design, including evaluating and selecting appliances and materials, working with contractors, storage, energy conservation, accessibility and budgeting. The workshop is suitable for anyone who wants to build, remodel or spruce up an existing kitchen and can help homeowners avoid costly mistakes by learning the basics first.

Registration is $45 and includes lunch. Deadline for registration is June 8, and seating is limited. Participants will receive a pre-workshop packet to determine accurate measurements of their existing or future kitchen. One hour of college credit is available through Utah State University Continuing Education for an additional $15. To register, or for more information, call Kerry Case at 801-544-3089.
