December Commencement RSVP Deadline Coming Up

Undergraduate students planning to participate in Utah State University’s December Commencement ceremony must RSVP no later than Nov. 17. Graduate students must inform the Graduate School of their intent to participate by Nov. 19.

 

Undergraduates need to email their intent to register@cc.usu.edu. They need to include either their birth date or SID and their full name so the Registrar’s Office can locate their record and mark it accordingly. Graduate students need to contact the Graduate School. 

 

Commencement is set for Dec. 18.

 

The RSVP information is critical so organizers can plan the seating and processional and create personalized certificates of commencement. The information is especially critical for the processional cards used to line up students so the correct names can be read at commencement and the correct certificate be awarded. It also is important so the photographer will be able to correctly plan and coordinate the disbursement of photos. 

 

Graduating students also need to RSVP if they are NOT coming as well so the Registrar’s Office can plan for the potential mailing of diploma covers.
