December Commencement Deadlines Approach

The Registrar’s office reminds all students participating in the December commencement that Oct. 15 is the deadline to turn in completed graduation packets and pay the $10 fee.

 

This deadline is the regular deadline for Spring 2005 Commencement, and the extended deadline for Fall 2004. The Registrar’s Office extended the fall deadline because of the late decision to hold a fall commencement. Students must have all signatures (departmental and college) on the packet in order to turn it in.

 

If students have additional questions, contact the Registrar's office via email.

 

Students who apply for fall graduation by Oct. 15 also should monitor their webmail accounts for information about the commencement and what they must do to participate. Emails will be sent near the end of October. Spring graduates will receive emails near the beginning of spring semester.

 

It is very important that students using other email accounts (Hotmail or Yahoo, for example) forward their Utah State webmail account so they will receive these important communications.

 

Students should contact the Bookstore with cap and gown and announcement questions.
