Conspiring Threats

Understanding the fate of cutthroat trout in the Logan River means identifying all the threats to their survival and how those threats work together. USU researcher Phaedra Budy says both biotic factors, such as disease, and abiotic factors, including temperature and drought, may combine to kill fish. One factor alone might not be lethal.
