'Connections' Art Exhibit Features 15 Utah Printmakers

The Caine College of the Arts (CCA) at Utah State University presents “Connections,” an art exhibition featuring 15 Utah printmakers. The exhibit runs Nov. 5-Dec. 5 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Tippetts Exhibit Hall in the Chase Fine Arts Center on US’s Logan campus.

A reception for the exhibition is Thursday, Nov. 13, from 5-7 p.m. also in the Tippetts Exhibit Hall. The exhibit and reception are free and open to all.

“This show will feature a variety of printmaking processes,” said Kathy Puzey, associate professor of art and printmaking in the CCA. “This includes — but is not limited to intaglio, lithography, relief, screen-printing and mixed media work.”

The participating artists include Wayne Kimball, Adrian Van Suchtelen, Stefanie Dykes, Justin Diggle, Andrew Rice, Erik Brunvand, Adam Larsen, Sandy Brunvand, K Stevenson, Dennis Martinez, Jay Wallace, Nancy Steele- Makasci, Abraham McCowan, Adrienne Smart and Nic Miller.

The Tippetts Exhibit Hall is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information, visit the CCA Box Office in room L101 of the Chase Fine Arts Center, call 435-797-8022 or see the college’s Production Services website.
