Community Night Returns to USU During Annual Engineers Week

By Madeline Buskirk |

Attendees participate in a previous year's Engineers Week Community Night in the Taggart Student Center on the USU Logan campus.

The public is invited to an evening of hands-on learning at Utah State University. As part of the annual Engineers Week celebration, the College of Engineering is hosting Community Night at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, in the Taggart Student Center Sunburst Lounge.

“Community Night is one of my favorite events,” said Kristen Gabriel, event organizer and recruiter for the College of Engineering, “It’s an amazing opportunity to connect with future engineers, experience hands-on activities, and see the incredible community that makes USU engineering so special.”

This free event offers a chance to explore engineering in an interactive way. Attendees will learn about aerospace, water research, electric cars or robots through a variety of experiences. There will also be a Kids Korner, an Egg Drop Challenge, ice cream and more.
