CODE BLUE Emergency Alert System Test — Logan Campus Only

The Utah State University Emergency Management Alert System will be tested at approximately 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, on the USU Logan campus only.

If not previously enrolled, members of the USU community are encouraged to sign up to receive the critical emergency information that is sent in the event of a major crisis on campus.

Signing up is easy.

  • open USU Access
  • select “Personal Information”
  • select “View/Update CODE BLUE Emergency Alert Phone Numbers”
  • enter up to five (5) voice and text message numbers (1 text number only)

The Campus Safety office offers additional helpful hints:

  • The test notification will come from telephone number (435) 797-7622. Program this telephone number into the phones you entered when you signed up. You should label it: USU CODE BLUE Emergency Alert.
  • In addition, be sure to share the test date and time with the individuals whose telephone numbers you entered when you signed up (parents, spouses, roommates, etc.).
  • Sign up for additional notification information on the USU Emergency Management Facebook and Twitter pages.

For more information, see the Campus Safety website or contact Judy Crockett at (435) 797-0807.
