Celebrate and Learn About Purim at the USU Museum of Anthropology
Utah State University’s Museum of Anthropology continues its Saturday activity series March 22 when guests will learn about and observe the Jewish holiday Purim, a holiday celebrated that day.
Guests will sample foods associated with the holiday, and children can participate in a craft activity. USU students and members of the public are invited to the museum any time during the 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday hours.
“Purim is a holiday that commemorates a time when the Jewish people living in ancient Persia were saved from extinction,” said museum student Kandice Newren.
The USU Museum of Anthropology is on the USU campus in the south turret of the historic Old Main building, room 252. Free parking is available in the adjacent lot, south of the building.
