Brown Bag Forum — What is UHESA?

A joint PEA/CEA brown bag forum is scheduled Thursday, Sept. 25, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Sunburst Lounge of the Taggart Student Center.

Hosted by the Classified Employee Association and the Professional Employee Association, the forum asks the question, "What is UHESA and Why Should It Be Important to Me?" Speaker for the forum is Teresa McKnight, president of UHESA and past PEA president.

The event includes a hosted lunch buffet with a suggested $1 donation. RSVP to Liz Allred at lizall@biology.usu.edu by Tuesday, Sept. 23. Space is limited to 200.

UHESA is the Utah Higher Education Staff Association and it represents staff from all higher education institutions in the state of Utah. The forum introduces the organization and provides an opportunity for Utah State’s professional and classified employees to provide input into a process that directly impacts jobs, forum organizers said.

The forum is intended for members of CEA and PEA, and all are encouraged to attend. Everyone on campus, however, can learn more about the employee groups and their activities via the forum.
