Blood drive at USU Friday, May 18, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive at Utah State University Friday, May 18, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on the second floor of the Taggart Student Center.

“We are urgently in need of blood donations in Utah,” said Troy Dennis of the Red Cross. “There are only seven people signed up to donate blood, and we need at least six times that amount to meet our donation goal.”

 

To donate blood, stop by the TSC with valid identification. No registration is required. For questions about donor rules and regulations, call the American Red Cross at 800-737-0902.

 

Juice and cookies will be provided to donors. The Red Cross reminds donors to drink plenty of fluids before donating blood.
