Banner System Offline
The Banner system will be temporarily offline and unavailable Thursday, May 11, at 5 p.m. until Monday, May 15, at 8 a.m. due to critically needed maintenance and an upgrade to Banner 7.
When Banner users log on to the system May 15, they will see the upgraded version. The changes will be largely cosmetic, and Banner’s functionality will remain the same.
“We do not anticipate a difficult transition for users, because the upgrade is mostly cosmetic,” said Rory Weaver, Banner project manager. “The intent of the upgrade is to help users do their jobs more easily.”
Because of the upgrade, all faculty must submit grades by noon on May 11, to allow time to process grades before the system is taken down. Students may access grades after 8 a.m. on May 15.
