Award Presentation and Reception at Utah State University

Cynthia Buckingham, a representative from the Utah Humanities Council, and Phil Notarianni from the division of State History, will be on the Utah State University campus Friday, April 13, for an award presentation. A reception with refreshments follows and the public is invited.

The presentation recognizes and supports a new oral history project at USU, the Latino Voice Project, conducted by USU’s Special Collections and Archives, a division of the Merrill-Cazier Library.

 

The ceremony takes place at 4:30 p.m. in the Merrill-Cazier Auditorium, room 101.

 

Accepting the grant award on behalf of Utah State University will be Linda Wolcott, director of the Merrill-Cazier Library, Brad Cole, associate director for Special Collections and Archives, and Randy Williams, project director.

 

“Please join us as we celebrate this important work,” Williams said. “We are excited to move this project forward.”
