Audition for the Old Lyric Repertory Company

The Old Lyric Repertory Company, the professional summer theater company based in the department of theatre at Utah State University, will produce Carson McCuller’s classic American drama The Member of the Wedding this summer.

Colin Johnson, producing artist director for the company, said auditions are open for several specific roles in the production, and local residents will be considered. Casting requirements call for a 10-13-year-old boy to play a leading role, and a cameo role for an African-American man who can play a minister in the age range of age 40-50. Auditions will be held by appointment.

 

The play is set in the deep South.
