Association of University Research Parks Nominates USU Employee to Board

The National Association of Research Parks elected Teresa McKnight to its board of directors for the term 2005-2008. McKnight's term began November 2005.

           

"I thank Teresa for her willingness to serve on the board," said Bruce A. Wright, chairman of AURP nominating committee. “She will donate valuable time to our industry in a very tangible way.”

 

McKnight is interim director at the Utah State University Innovation Campus in North Logan. Innovation Campus is home to 45 businesses, including the award-winning Letterpress Software Inc.

     

“It is an honor to be nominated and elected by colleagues around the world to serve on the board of directors for the AURP,” said McKnight.

     

McKnight has been a member of AURP for more than six years now and works with leaders from strong research parks around the United States, such as Research Triangle Park, Centennial Campus, Sandia Research & Technology Park and University of Arizona Science and Technology Park.
