Aphasia Support Group is now Available on Campus

Aphasia is a communication impairment caused by stroke and other types of brain injury. An aphasia support group meets Friday afternoons at Utah State University’s Speech-Language Center located in the Lillywhite Building on the Logan campus. The group offers the opportunity to meet others with aphasia, practice communication in a supportive environment and develop new communication skills.

Since the gathering meets in a clinic setting, those interested are asked to contact Debbie Amundson for more information and screening. She can be reached at (435) 797-1375 or by email, Debbie.amundson@usu.edu.
