Alumni Association Presents Activities
Two popular activities provided by the Utah State University Alumni Association are fast approaching, Aggie Family Day and Homecoming 2005.
Aggie Family Day is Saturday, Sept. 24. Activities take place on the Quad from noon until 3 p.m. Past events have included educational activities provided by many of USU's colleges. There are games and activities for the younger set. Lunch and Aggie Ice Cream are available for a reasonable price.
Week-long activities are planned for Utah State's Homecoming, and the Alumni Association kicks things off with the Golden Aggie Reunion Oct. 6. Members of the class of 1955 will gather at the Haight Alumni Center for a welcome luncheon. A social, class photo, dinner and speaker fill the evening for the Golden Aggies.
The Alumni Association hosts the Homecoming Golf Tournament Friday, Oct. 7, at the Logan River Golf Course. Check in is at 11 a.m., with the shotgun start at noon. Cost is $60 per player or $240 per foursome.
A banquet is planned Oct. 7, were several awards will be presented. LaVell Edwards is Alumnus of the Year and Rod Tueller has been named Homecoming Grand Marshall.
The Homecoming parade is Saturday, Oct. 8, and begins at 10 a.m. on Logan's main street. The parade travels from 100 South to 800 North. A pre-game party is planned from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the corner of 1000 North and 800 East in the Romney Stadium parking lot. The party is a combined event with the Big Blue Clue and the Alumni Association.
