Alma P. Moser Named Member Emeritus by Transportation Research Board

Alma P. Moser, professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and associate dean of the College of Engineering at Utah State University, has been appointed Member Emeritus by the National Academies' Transportation Research Board (TRB) Committee on Culverts and Hydraulic Structures.
 
TRB established the emeritus membership category to recognize the significant and long term contribution of individuals who have provided outstanding service to the TRB.
 
"Your selection as Member Emeritus goes beyond this recognition," Moser's letter of appointment stated. "Your selection represents peer recognition at the highest level."
 
The National Academies is made up of four organizations, including the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Engineering, the Institute of Medicine and the National Research Council. Its primary mission is to advise the federal government on scientific and technological matters
