All Aggies Invited to Participate in Natural Resources Photo Contest
Birds fly over Cache Valley wetlands. All USU students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in the 2016 Natural Resources Photo Contest.
All Aggies are urged to grab their cameras and enter the Quinney College of Natural Resources’ 2016 Annual Photo Contest.
Utah State University students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in the contest and exhibition. Entries will be displayed March 28-29 in the lobby across from the Stevenson Ballroom in the Taggart Student Center and March 30-April 1 in the Natural Resources building atrium during Natural Resources Week.
“We encourage everyone to participate and help us celebrate Natural Resources Week at USU,” says Patrick Adams, Quinney College of Natural Resources senator. “This is a great opportunity for Aggies to reflect on our planet’s natural beauty and share their perceptions with the campus community through art.”
Photos may be submitted in the following three categories: 1) Scenery; 2) Wildlife; and 3) People in Nature. There is no cost to enter and participants can enter one photo in any or all of the categories.
Submissions can be matted or unmatted, and should be unframed, with the photo prints no larger than 8” x 10” in size. Entrants should bring their submissions to the CNR Academic Service Center, Room 120, in the Natural Resources building. At the center, participants will receive entry forms that should be completed for each submission. The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 25, at 4 p.m.
First, second, and third place prizes will be awarded. Awardees will be selected by votes cast by visitors to the exhibit.
Following the contest, participants can retrieve their entries Monday, April 4, beginning at 9 a.m. at the CNR Academic Service Center, NR 120.
