• Utah State is 11-17-1 all-time against Fresno State, which includes an 8-4 home record. Fresno State had won six straight games in the series and nine of the last 10 overall prior to USU’s 56-14 win at Fresno last year, which is USU’s largest margin of victory in series history. The first game played between the two teams was on Oct. 18, 1952, in Fresno with the Bulldogs winning, 27-21. The last time the two teams played one another in Logan was on Sept. 18, 2010, with Fresno State winning, 41-24. The last time USU defeated the Bulldogs at home was on Oct. 7, 2006, by a final score of 13-12, as Fresno State currently has a two-game winning streak in Logan.

Utah State And Fresno State As Conference Foes

• Utah State and Fresno State have spent 26 years as league foes, including four seasons in the Mountain West as Fresno State joined the league in 2012 and Utah State joined in 2013. Both schools were also members of the Big West Conference from 1978 to 2003 and members of the Western Athletic Conference from 2005 to 2011.
