Aggies Encouraged to 'Kick Butts' April 25
Utah State University joins campuses around the nation in the observance of “Kick Butts Day” Wednesday, April 25, during National Tobacco Use Awareness Week. USU’s Student Wellness Center hosts exhibits and activities to build campus awareness of the dangers of tobacco use and secondhand smoke, along with resources for help.
Visit interactive exhibits in the outdoor Taggart Student Center fountain area from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. A display with more than 150 pairs of shoes, called “Project 50,000,” highlights the 50,000 deaths that occur in the U.S. each year from secondhand smoke. Games, activities and information will be available to students, faculty and staff.
