AGGIES PLAY AT SAN DIEGO STATE ON ESPN2
• Utah State continues Mountain West play this week at San Diego State Friday night on ESPN2. USU is 16-3 (.842) all-time in the Mountain West and has won 27 of its last 30 league games dating back to the 2011 Western Athletic Conference season.

• Utah State is 3-0 in Mountain West play for the first time in its three years in the conference. The last time USU began league play with a 3-0 record was in 2012 when it went on to win the WAC with a 6-0 mark.

• Utah State has won 13 of its last 15 conference road games and 15 of its last 26 road games overall. Under head coach Matt Wells, USU is 8-9 on the road, including a 7-2 Mountain West road record. During its last 13 conference road wins, USU is averaging 40.7 points and 494.3 yards per game, while its average margin of victory is 19.5 points per game.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR FRIDAY NIGHT
• Utah State has won 39 of its last 53 games (.736) to rank as the third-most wins in the West behind Oregon (46) and Boise State (41) over the last four-plus seasons.

• Sophomore Kent Myers is 8-1 as Utah State's starting quarterback and the Aggies are 17-5 over the past three years with a backup quarterback as their starter.

• Utah State tied the single-game school record for turnovers forced with eight (five fumbles, three interceptions) against No. 21 Boise State last weekend. Those eight forced turnovers are the most in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) this season and the most since Arkansas State forced eight turnovers against Idaho on Nov, 1. 2014.

• During its last four games, Utah State has forced 18 turnovers with 10 fumbles and eight interceptions. On the season, USU ranks first nationally in fumbles recovered (10), fourth nationally in turnovers forced (18) and fourth in the nation in turnover margin (+10).

• Utah State ranks sixth in the nation in rushing defense (90.8 ypg), 20th in total defense (303.3 ypg) and 31st in scoring defense (20.3 ppg), while San Diego State ranks 10th nationally in rushing defense (93.7 ypg), 13th in total defense (296.0 ypg) and 27th in scoring defense (19.6 ppg).

• Utah State has won 18 straight games with a 100-yard rusher, including a 1-0 record this year, and 22 of its last 23 games when it rushes at least 40 times in a game, including a 3-0 record this year.
