Aggie Family Day Fun for Entire Family
Numerous activities and events are planned during Aggie Family Day on the USU Quad, Saturday, Sept. 16, from 1-4 p.m. The Alumni Association is providing a climbing wall for outdoor enthusiasts and a large inflatable slide for those who want a thrill.
Aggie Family Day is free and open to the public and is a perfect family activity that leads into the Aggie football game against the University of Utah, said event organizer, Scott Olson, with USU’s Alumni Association.
“Although especially exciting for the children, people of all ages will enjoy Aggie Family Day,” said Olson. “Our goal is to get more children involved. We want to make children aware of the importance of higher education while showing them that it can be a good time as well.”
Food will be available, including USU’s famous Aggie Ice Cream. Tickets for food will be sold at the event. Free parking is available in the USU Parking Terrace located at 850 E. 700 North near the Taggart Student Center or in the lot on the south side of Highway 89, across from the Business Building (use tunnel when crossing Highway 89).
Aggie Family Day is sponsored by the USU Alumni Association. The Aggie football game against the University of Utah follows at 6:05 p.m. in Romney Stadium. Tickets for the game may be purchased in advance through the USU Ticket Office, 435-797-0305 or 1-888-878-2831, www.utahstateaggies.com.
