Aggie Blue Bikes Seeks Donated Kid's Bikes for Local Sub for Santa

Utah State University’s Aggie Blue Bikes is putting out a call for donations of children’s bikes at the bike shop. Aggie Blue Bikes mechanics and volunteers will fix up the bikes during the month of November and donate all the bikes to Cache Valley Sub for Santa.

Aggie Blue Bikes is located between the between the Fieldhouse and Military Science building on USU's Logan campus. Bikes may be dropped off anytime. If the shop is not open, bikes may be left in the racks. Mechanics will be working on the kids bikes from now until the end of November.

“Last year we donated 17 bikes and our mechanics and volunteers say this is their favorite project,” said Meg McCarthy, Aggie Blue Bikes program coordinator.

Aggies Blue Bikes says that even if bikes are in a state of utter disrepair, they can put them to good use, either by restoring them, or by using them for parts.

Aggie Blue Bikes is a service oriented program that started in 2005 on the university campus.
