Action/Reaction Exhibit shown at Utah State University

The Department of Art at Utah State University hosts the exhibition “Action/Reaction” in the Studio 102 Gallery of the Chase Fine Arts Center on the USU campus.

 

“Action/Reaction” brings together the work of figurative artists working in different two-dimensional media. The artists featured in the exhibition have created visual responses to the events of the 2009-10 Crossing Boundaries Tanner Project at USU. The exhibit is curated by Scott Foster, exhibitions coordinator for the Department of Art at USU.

 

Exhibition dates are April 6-16. Gallery hours are noon-4 p.m., Tuesdays through Thursdays, or by appointment.

 

A public reception for “Action/Reaction” is Friday, April 9, 6-8 p.m. at Studio 102.

 

“Action/Reaction” is part of the 2009-10 Tanner Project titled Crossing Boundaries, a year-long series of art exhibits, theater performances and appearances and lectures by national and international artists and scholars.
