A Kinder Kochia

Mention kochia and most folks think of a pesky weed. But forage kochia, a distant relative of the annual shrub, provides high-quality fall and winter food for livestock and wildlife. Utah State University research reveals that forage kochia speeds digestion in grazing animals and is an economical alternative to alfalfa.
