A Christmas Carol Anthology at the USU Museum of Anthropology

Continuing with Utah State University’s Museum of Anthropology’s “Saturdays at the Museum” series, Saturday Dec. 20, the museum invites guests to bring pillows and blankets to watch three different versions of the classic story, “A Christmas Carol.”

“‘A Christmas Carol’ has always been a traditional movie in my family,” said museum worker Kandice Newren. “It’s always fun to see how it has been portrayed in the past and today.”

Visitors will have the option to view three different adaptations of the story “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens. The movie and showing times are: “A Christmas Carol” (1938) at 10:30 a.m., “Scrooge” (1970) at noon and “A Muppet Christmas Carol” (1992) at 2 p.m.

The museum staff thanks everyone who visited the museum this fall and also thanks patrons for making “Saturdays at the Museum” such a great success. During the movie day, the museum will be accepting non-perishable food donations for the Cache Valley Food Bank.

USU students and members of the public are invited to the museum any time during the 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday hours.

The USU Museum of Anthropology is on the USU campus in the south turret of the historic Old Main building, room 252. Free parking is available in the adjacent lot, south of the building.
