5k Burrito and Band Benefit

A student team in a College of Business course, Human Resources 3110, is holding a fundraising event Friday, Oct. 12, and all are invited. Proceeds support the College of Business Microloan Program. The event is held in conjunction with Café Sabor.

The 5k run starts at USU’s Romney Stadium parking lot at 6 p.m. An entrance fee is $5. Following the run, there will be a dinner at Café Sabor (600 W. Center, Logan) from 8-11 p.m. A burrito and drink is $6.99. A special price of $10 is available to the hearty individuals who participate in the run and come to dinner.

 

A live band, Pleasant Tree, will perform at Café Sabor.

 

To register for the “5k Burrito and Band Benefit,” sign up in the Taggart Student Center first floor on the USU campus. Registration takes place through Friday, Oct. 12. Cash only please. Organizers said 100 percent of all profits will support those less fortunate in impoverished nations through the start-up and maintenance of successful businesses.
