Aggies Create Equality

Make an Impact in Business & Society

While working as the Youth Observer to the United Nations in New York City, Michael Peters empowered youth to think globally and act locally to challenge issues like inequality and poverty. His advocacy for underserved populations elevated conversations on a global scale to tackle worldwide issues.

Like Michael, students at Utah State University can double major in marketing and international business to open doors and make global impacts. Others, like one of Time Magazines “100 Most Influential People of 2009” Norah Al-Faiz, use their education to transform educational policy and practices abroad. USU’s political science degrees have resulted in leaders like Utah’s Gov. Spencer Cox, Nobel Prize winners, like Lars Peter Hansen, U.S. senators, like Harry Reid, and congressmen, like Rep. Mike Simpson (R-ID), as well as international ambassadors, like Ardeshir Zahedi.
