Physical Education Teaching - Minor

Emma Eccles Jones College of Education & Human Services

About This Minor

The Health Education Teaching Minor at Utah State University prepares students to teach health education in K–12 school settings.

This program includes the essential coursework and practicum experiences required to apply for the Health Education endorsement through the Utah State Board of Education (USBE).

Students must either hold or be working toward a valid Utah teaching license to be eligible for the USBE endorsement. The minor is an excellent option for students in teacher preparation programs who want to enhance their credentials and expand their teaching opportunities.
