About This Certificate

The Health Equity Post Bachelo’rs Certificate provides rigorous social science training and education in social determinants of health, health disparities, and health equity, targeted at both current graduate students and healthcare professionals and practitioners.

The certificate requires completion of two health-related courses, which will provide students with training and education in social scientific approaches to health, healthcare, well-being, disability, aging, and mental health. Also required is an inequality course, which will provide students with more depth regarding the history of inequality and factors that shape unequal outcomes.
