About This Minor
The ability to derive insight from data is becoming as important as reading and writing in the modern economy.
As such, all students can benefit from being “data literate,” even when pursuing majors that do not require extensive training in mathematics, statistics, or computer programming.
The Data Literacy Minor aims to help students better understand how modern data analysis tools are used, and how the results from such analyses can be best communicated. This program is designed to be accessible to students from all majors. With just 12 credits required, students will be well positioned to enhance their career in any discipline in which data is used.
